that was my thinking, in practice is doesnt quite work out all the time. the games got the weirdest aim method used in a fps to date I agree 100% wit dat! mbbe thats what makes it so addictive...but i doubt it:E
ill have to try turning sensitivity down and the turn up when i play again. prolly makes u more accurate.. when i played quake on xbl it didnt have the turn thing where it speeds up after a second.. so i learned to just flick it on reflex like ona pc. so f'n hard to do in UT3
dnt know abt ctf but in warfare it helps u decide which node to def or whether 2 push on 2 nxt node(s), half the time I make the wrong decision but having the map bound to a easily accessable key is a gd thing :E
wit my caveman fingers I always used to end up jumping at random, half the time it used 2 get me outta trouble but @ least now I got control of my movements, also kept swapping weapons just when I was abt to kill ppl as well so left click had to go :e
Hah! I hadn't thought of you Fred-Flintstone-types bashing down on the controllers. Sounds right though. I've got good sized hands, too... if they were any bigger I could totally see myself having to do the same!
And does having the map on give you any advantage outside of knowing where you're going? I didn't turn it on 'cause I memorize them. But if it helps, i'll try blasting that sucka on!
I'm using the 360. My button layout is set to default. Personally though, I rely on the right joystick-click for jumping. Means I have to move my hands/fingers very little while in a match and improves my jump-dodging an easy 200%.

am using the lowest sensitivity wit highest turn accl, swapped show map/next weapon buttons round & disabled show weapon & jump on left/right sticks + weapon show off

For sensitivity settings: I don't remember the numbers, but my Horizontal is set individually to -2 from Max, and Vertical is -3 from Max.
As chaos said, having a faster horizontal makes a huge difference on snubbing rear attacks. I play a lot of low grav, so having the vertical moved up helps with taking people out who like to jump over me (and taking them out low when I'm jumping). High sensitivity settings is also beneficial to the Speed Freak mutator... which I absolutely adore.
Also, I've changed my on-screen nav to show my overall rank/place (leaderboard style), instead of counting kills. For someone like me, this keeps me staying more active as the game moves on because I'm seeing 3 positions in that round. Thus it becomes more about moving up in placement or taking over the top position with a high kill count than previous first place runners on that map. It's super motivating, and is very indicative of who's an active competitor in that match when compared to my skill level. Great, great thing to have on. Everyone should try it!
