I looked at the settings better yesterday. I haven't tested it yet, but on the "Weapon Hand" section you can set for "Left", "Right", and "None". That last one might be the 'no gun' setting. Didn't have a lot of time to play and wanted to see if I liked Smaller Guns (It's not bad. Takes some getting used to!)... I'll see if i have time to test the "no hand" later. ;)

ammo comes out of midair really lol same place just no weapon there...i dont think its only a ps3 setting pretty sure xbox has it too

lol its really not bad**** but it makes it faster.

unreal tournament is based around the quake multiplayer model, youd prolly like it. very fast.

check out

its a full free version of quake 3 arena that plays in your browser. its ad suppported came out last year, thousands of people play it.

quake 4 for 360 is like 5$ as well.. but im guessing only like 10 people still play haha

also, quake 3 arena is coming out on xbox live arcade sometime soon biggrin

I've never played Quake. Wonder how it would be to play that after having become such a huge UT3 fan?

@ Exile you should see my quake3 setup on pc. no gun, only crosshairs.. field of view cranked up to stretch out the screen, gives you more area to see.. all effects turned down, looks like a nintendo 64 game lol. less on the screen means your more aware of your surroundings and no gun to draw bumps the framerate up.

No joke? Wow! I don't know if I could play like that. I'll definitely give that one a try, too... but I think it would take some of the immersion out of it for me. So when you fire, where does the ammo come out of?!?

Agh! Crap... really?? I thought it would be cheesy. I'll totally check that out. Been working my @55 off all day and didn't get a chance t play yet.

And I've got mine on Vivid, too. Gore set to normal.

are you serious? i put that on 5 minutes after first playing the game. opens up SO much space.

i like these settings threads. what post-processing you use? i like the vivid one

Anyone tried turning that setting on?

I haven't yet, but I'm curious what it's like. I may do it today and see if it's worth anything!
