hhmm I was thinking the servers have got alot better recently :S, off topic again!.....titan update :S........admittedly from a technical viewpoint I dont have a leg to stand on when arguing against the reasons listed http://www.vg247.com/2009/02/21/epic-explains-why-ut3-titan-pack-wont-make-360/ but when u look at the supprt epic gave both gears games its shocking we didnt get UnrealEd / a map pack at the very least, did the game not sell v well or something?..........old news & moaning abt it isnt going to change anyting i know lol & my posts have an emo aura abt them :E
on the flip side the majority of the stnd map maps offer solid gameplay with excellant weapon placement & decent spawns :E
ive noticed lately, sometimes in the excessive DM.. near the end of the game (or maybe its more people joining) i get some heavy lag. heavy as in i dont even see rockets come out lol.. its not just me either. i can still compensate tho.. its just a bit annoying.

If you are lagging its one of two things, either the server's bandwidth is being used up -which is unlikely in this case because UT has highest business cl**** internet- or your bandwidth is being used up. If you have a low internet like i do you cant run a million things at once. I can run my comp, xbox, ps3 all at the same time but i have a bandwidth manager on my router that diverts most of it to the system being used the most unless my pc is highest and i have my 360 on, it defaults to my 360. You cant be downloading or buffering a hour long video and run your 360 or ps3 at the same time and not expect lagg unless you have a higher internet connection, im talking atleast 3+mb. Thats the issue here, please check your bandwidths.

On the lag issue with the servers there is NO broadcasting being done from where the servers are located at this time. There was a period of 2-3 days about 2 weeks ago already (its all a blur) that we were doing extensive uploading and broadcasting (we were testing).
All bit rates are set now and we are in process of adding 1 Ps3 server for now maybe 2.
I wish there was more time for me to moderate but I have kids too. Thanks for joining the forum and it will only get better.
well no **** your not gonna lag on instant action its your won serv omg people are dumb...stop complainin about the lag if your good you can still own on a laggy server you guys just dont no how to compensate for the lag i love nubs!

the **** man...thats a kick in the balls & a slap in the face at the same time then, I'm sure they had their reason but they wont b able to jusify them to me c**ts :E I'd of loved to see some1 make a ut3 version of ****ault too :(
I can see where lag is a problem. Play an instant action game, go on you hoverboard and notice how fast it is then go to an online game and do it there. There is a huge difference. Also, when I shoot my gun and it......shoots a half second after, that gets unbearable.
Pengalengz: the 360 version never got the Titan update, which added maps, mods, and a new main menu, among other things I'm sure.
General thread note: Speaking of lag, I was lagging trying to load the page. Excessive, dude, you gotta cut done on some of the stuff you got on the main board page. I don't like the idea of blocking UT related content....but if I have to, or find a work around using stylish, I will. I mean as awesome as the akasha background is, it does slow down load times. I mean I'd like the video up top to stay, but you can't have THAT and images....and well, 2 videos plus images is just insane. Not to mention, image on top of image just looks bad. The choices are cool, but too much of a good thing is bad. Many site improvements are to be had, yo. :P

haha seems a bit drastic, the lag whatever is causing it does kill the game its no fun shooting a shock ball for it to appear 1 second later / suicide with rockets that usually abt the time I find smg else 2 do :E for the most part the servers seem fine to me
this game isnt dieing it is dead and has been for months...ps3 isnt much better only a hand full more people but there is a ton of dedi's...you wanna play this game cometitively and with a big community go to the pc version
man i wish 360 had the same respect as the other consoles but damn. Excessive is the only one keeping UT3 alive. microsoft should of just let epic release the update 360 deserves it.
i gotta tell ya i thought the only way for ut 360 to die was another moding clan like the devils coming in and smelling up the joint however i see now whats really gonna kill ut 360 even faster........................ all these lagy servers its terrible and it needs to stop............ first off exessive whatever your doing stop it its ruining your server is it that live broadcast thing? cuz if it is its not worth it if your server uber lags and people cant enjoy the game something else that needs to be done is we need more dedicated servers NOW............ the reason ps3 is still staying alive stronger than 360 (despite its crapy mod ports) is cuz it has two private dedicated server "companies" running reliable servers umg for example or chwarz or something like that are running excellent servers however i got a bad feeling that ut on any consule may die out and hard core gaming on consules WILL end this is our last stand here people this is the last hardcore game left (until quake arena arcade arrives but id software sure are dragging there @$$ about it) so please lets not make any more mistakes we need more dedicated server support from not only from people like excessive but also umg and chwarz if not excessive ut's future is in your hands you gota fix that lag and you gota fix it now if not its game over for all of us us make your choice oh and also in the event ut 360 is no longer playable my clan will automatically shut down and i will sent you a msg demon to delete b.a.h. off this forum but only when i say i quit all members will be informed when this happens.................................................................................
